This is early big band era, so rather than bringing out the Radio Kings, which would do for Krupa/Goodman style material, it was another chance to haul out the rarely used Leedy kit, with its rack of cowbells, woodblock and all manner of Chinese cymbals. Not forgetting the 28” bass drum. Thanks to all in the band, crew, and the great audience. I can’t believe I get paid to do this – I love my job(s).
